DoorstepsBrand Voice Optimization
During the Doorsteps BETA, I provided voice refinements to website copy in order to enhance the user experience. Working closely with Doorstep’s founder and chief developer, I created a set of recommendations and accompanying copy examples to guide existing and forthcoming brand communications. Key to these recommendations was the need to help users of the web app feel clarity and comfort as they proceeded through Doorstep’s unique educational process. A friendly, real-person voice with a healthy dose of wit helped to differentiate the brand and site experience. Subsequently, I used this same vocal approach to help create the language for the Doorsteps Swipe mobile app.
